About the Straight Flush Poker Tour

The RFPT's inaugural Final tourney, Season 1

Straight  Flush has been in overall operation since 2006, originally as the Royal Flush Poker Tour and then with a ownership change in 2008, we became the Straight Flush Poker Tour.  In October of 2008, I became the sole owner of the league.  When the league formed, we wanted to ensure that we had the best and most professionally sturctured league in the Twin Cities, which we have succeeded at.  We also wanted to make sure that poker players didn't have to play 3, 4 or even 5 different "semi-final" tournaments  each against hundreds of players in order to get a big prize package.  You will not find a better league in the Twin Cities.

I have been in the poker scene since 2004, well before Minnesota legislature legalized these free poker tournaments.  I mainly play No Limit Hold'em, with the occasional Limit, Omaha and Stud games thrown in, with good success so far.  I have a full-time job in service and training that allows me travel throughout the United States, which has given me great exposure to the game and lots of great card rooms.  I've played several times at Foxwoods in Connecticut, Commerce Casino among other smaller casinos in Los Angeles, CA, Winstar in Oklahoma, and many others from Atlantic City to Seattle, Washington, and  Las Vegas.  I've also had the pleasure and opportunity to play overseas in several bar leagues and casinos in Australia in 2009.

I pledge to keep this league the best in the Twin Cities, and if you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to contact me at any time.  I am always available for you, the player.  And if there is anything I can do to make your poker experience better, I will do what I can to make it happen.

I look forward to seeing you at the tables,
